I used CJ for about a year back in the late 90s. The initial customer service was poor, and got worse over time. After about a year, their reports showed my traffic was dropping, and my earnings had become almost non existent. This was strange since I had steadily been expanding my site, and my server's dashboard showed my website traffic had increase dramatically all year. I was suspicious, so I had a friend order something from their computer off my site, and guess what? CJ had no record of the purchase. When I contacted them about it via email and told them flat out that I had proof the sale was made through my website, my account was cancelled.

Not going to call them a scam because they have paid some folks but I sent them over 500 uniques to a merchant with a free trial offer and only converted twice. Once was a test offer that did not convert. I had to show proof to the merchant that I sent them a legitimate lead before I got paid. Took over a month.
CJ also gave me "cookie" and "code excuses" and said the matter was out of their hands. Dont know if they are a scam but something is fishy.

With comission junction you get tutorials on how to develop and market your site. The account and statistics page is excellent allowing you to see which banners are earning you the most money on your site. This allows you to put together a full marketing plan. Information is regularly given when a merchant closes their account with Comission Junction so you can remove any banners which are no longer paying.

They used to be a good and reliable bunch, but since they've left the pay per click system, they've gone downhill in many respects. When I requested payment, next thing I knew was that they terminated my account, accusing me of cheating! This was supposedly detected by their infallible anti-cheating software... I subsequently emailed them several time asking for an explanation, and they never replied once! What can you do! I'd say skip them if you're looking for a company with integrity. There are many around, like Tradedoubler, Fastclick and Focusin.

Their design and usability might be nice but it does not matter since they will CANCEL your account for no reason whatsoever. DO NOT JOIN THIS WEBSITE! You will Waste your time - waste your energy - waste your money. You will NOT get PAID for your efforts!

I could spend all day on their site trying to figure out which programs to choose from the thousands on offer. Dont make much money from them despite the programmes looking good.

Used to be a good service, but lately has taken a huge turn for the worse. All the decent merchants have left, their customer service couldn't be any worse and the site badly needs some updating. They also treat affiliates - even their top performers - LOUSY!

I joined repeatedly...HAD to 'cause they kept deleting my account and I couldn't get in. Fortunately, they did so before I could get any serious work done and waste my effort on them.

I've been doing affiliate marketing for nine years and CJ is one of the main income generators for me. The signup process needs to go back how it was, it is awful, but they have never been late on a payment with me - ever. The best part is the quality of advertisers that I can ride the campaigns they run which spur searches. If you understand affiliate marketing, you should do well with CJ.

Commission Junction is definitely a solid choice for a publishers looking for a good affiliate advertising network. It's not surprising that CJ.com has grown to become one of the biggest affiliate networks today.

I tried to request a check online but there is no feature to do so. Went to contact them and contact link on every page only refreshes that page I'm on. I reached over $25 and the payout is set to send payment on every $25 or more. Its been 3 months and nothing. Lousy company and contact support virtually impossible to find once you login.

When I first started with Commission Junction I was making a lot of money everyday untill they told me that I was not going by TOS. That's not true at all in fact it seems like they think that I work for them but I work for my coustomers and I own my own business. Is there something just like Commission Junction out there that I can jump right in to and start making money?

I have been using CJ for four years now. They provide alot of good merchants. They have always paid me right on time. Their interface is very cluttered and slow, though. No complaints with much of their business. I did however, have a very bad experinece with them last year. Someone made a purchase of enterprise software (7000 units) through a link on one of my websites. The company that I was adverising for on that sale did state in their terms that they honored payments for enterprise sales. The sale showed up in my account for a good week. I contacted CJ immediately to ask if the sale was legitimate. They said it was. Then the sale was withdrawn by the company. CJ then told me the sale was in error, but when I sent the particulars to other CJ veterans, they were in agreement that it was correct. So, I was out $35,000 US, and according to CJ's terms, there was nothing I could do about it. In fact, since I use PPC alot to send people to my websites, I was out even more money. So, CJ, whose job is to protect the small adveriser from the big companies, caved in to the software comapny and didn't protect me at all when it counted. I hear CJ is getting a bad reputation among advertisers and publishers alike, and I firmly believe that what goes around really does come around eventually.

Commission Junction is the best affiliate network and makes keeping track of affiliate programs a breeze. To sign up with CJ click on the link below and apply for a "Publisher Account" with them. (FYI- CJ calls affiliates "publishers" and merchants providing affiliate programs "advertisers")

CJ has been a wonderful boom for us. We have grown tremendously since we signed up and greatly appreciate the excellent publishers out there. This model really works!

I would highly recommend you sign up for their affiliate program. With so many different stores and products you can promote (maybe tie-in to your existing stuff?) this is well worth it.

The scheme they operate is really designed for very active sites who have users looking to buy specific products. Unless you are in this category you will be better off using another service. Their policy is to deduct a monthly payment from your account if you do not sell a certain amount every month. As a result I had $30 of commissions deducted from my account. So you see for the majority of low traffic sites there is almost nothing to be gained from using the service.

Well we had their banners up for many years and made more off the banners from BeFree or other programs than we did in any given year. Then they cancelled our accounts (repeatedly) only to reinstate them when we called to ask why. It really is too bad too because they have a lot of great merchants who probably have no idea what kind of company they are dealling with. It is really too bad when large networks take advantage of smaller webmasters like this.

There is so much to this site and it really does work. But the bottom line is it will only work if you use the right merchants to match your sites content and that you have a regular flow of visitors to your site. The only real disadvantage about the site itself is that the page load times can often be very slow with the shear bulk amount of users on the site

I've been with CJ for a few months and they've paid affiliate commissions on time for me. I'll write another review if I ever get ripped off by them, but so far I haven't had any problems and I make more money with them than any other affiliate portal. If anyone has any complaints with them I would like to hear a review with specifics rather than just "they are crooks", etc.

Commission Junction offer a fantastic business opportunity from people working from home (who have a website) wanting to earn an extra income brilliant companies on offer easy to join and add links to - Their payment structure is second to none - I now receive a guaranteed monthly cheque which is always more every month!

I was with CJ for about 6 months and at first my website was getting only 50 visitors a month and that was when I made my first sale and earned my first commission at CJ. That's when it ended. As my website increased to 700 visitors a month, I actually didn't generate a single penny in commissions according to CJ! That didn't make any sense to me so I tested it out myself and had two friends book a vacation (I had a travel website). Never received credit for either one. I called up CJ and all the guy did was give me excuses about cookies and telling me that maybe the code was incorrect. I used to be a computer programmer so I knew that the code was correct, plus it worked just fine for my first commission. I also know how cookies work and that had nothing to do with it. It was all bull! Who knows how much I really earned on there. Needless to say, I cancelled my account.

Commission Junction seemed to be good, but I have just recently requested payment and found my account has been put on payment review for 30 days and then if they think I have increased clicks they will terminate my account. This is very annoying and I don't think I'm the only one who has had this problem. My advice would be to look elsewhere or deal directly with the companies of which you want to become an affiliate.
