I have an account with them and I'm pretty happy with them. I have no problems with them so far and they do pay once you have clicks or merchandise sold. You would go to their website and tell them about your website and fill out a complete application. After that they will review your application and approve you. You can do this on all websites and you would just apply to be a partner with them. They're great if you want to earn more revenues.

I have a real headache to get the payment from them. There is no PayPal payment option in the payee information and one have to send the email and ask them to be paid by PayPal. I already wrote another bunch of emails asking to be paid by PayPal. Still didn't get the payment for another payment circle and now Kontera is owing me for two months.

This is the MOST annoying form of advertising I have ever come in contact with. As a customer of McAfee I would like you to add to your software a way to disable it.!!!!!

As for In-line text/content ads, there does not seem to be many other options besides Kontera and AdBrite. there are no solutions given here to the problem, just one pro and several cons associated with Kontera, generally speaking

Annoying, but more of that, fake/misleading "ContentLink/In-Text Advertising" java scripts from kona.kontera.com using a lot of nonsense adv terms like "google search at DealTime!" and "near me at Shopping.com"that you can not buy them even if you want to, and if clicked not directing as expected to the links showed, but to c.enhance.com , red rated by WOT and with red flags by SA reviewers (also SpyBotS&D stoped me visiting it), which gives you spyware cookie.

I have used Kontera on one of my blogs and it runs fine. Just by installing it I was able to increase my monthly revenues by 10%-15% ( I was running only adsense before).
