While LInkShare seemed to have good, reputable merchants, conversions were always low compared to other affiliate programs. This struck me as odd since the click throughs from LinkShare ads were equal to other programs ads. I can't say they're a scam since I did have a friend buy a product thorough a LinkShare ad, and I did get credit for the sale, but the low conversion rate compared to other affiliate marketing programs still seemed suspicious to me, so I dumped LInkShare.

given a lot of client resonsibility right away. Lots of different tasks. No day was the same. Everything was always changing. That coulde be pretty exciting. Compensation wasn't very good. Also, compensation was pretty variable and comp packages changed a lot. You never really knew what you were getting so it was hard to plan. Compensation and your client goals didn't align very well so it was hard to be incented to do waht was best for clients.

None (many other options are available). No support, Buggy interface, Messy data. As an affiliate the biggest problem I am facing with Linkshare is, the way they have organized their datafeeds and web services. Soon Linkshare will be loosing quality affiliates as it's impossible to promote products from merchants.

Major Affiliate Central Resource. Accept UK Applications and then not pay out to UK Applications. All members of Linkshare Affliate Scheme should be aware that they are an organisation that are happy to accept Affiliates from the UK, but once the affliate starts making money and is ready to have a payout will point you to the small print in their terms and conditions that says No One Outside USA can apply.
