Gaf is a good site but some fraudsters are ruining its good name. If you are a GAF writer, please stay away from a scammer going by the name Dogarsahab. The buyer posts many projects, picks many providers for each projects and pays none. I am his victim. Thank you.

INDAINS BUYERS ARE THE WORST BUYER ON GAF, they wanted me to design , develop and do php work in $60, when bid was of $150 ,



They want us to work in very very cheap rates.

Very bad service, after i escrowed my money to a providor and i cancelled the bid cause he was not professional he didnt want to cancel the escrow payment and the providor tried to use me either to send him 50$ to his paypal account or he will never cancel the escrow and GAF doesnt even reply my tickets to refund the money back and it is now for them take care from this site.

I had made payment using the GAF.com escrow service. When I told them that this developer had scammed me, GAF.com did not even reply to my e-mail. I have no way to connect and get my money back.

I won a rare project with these guys. It paid $750.00. My client put $250.00 up front in escrow GetAFreelancer. I left it there until I finished the book. They took $75.00 out of the $250.00 leaving $175.00. So they got their full commission. Fortunately for me, the client paid the balance in a check directly to me.I say fortunately as GAF has blocked my account.

When site really works and popular it's always possible to find samples of bad and good experience.

I am pretty sure that they let our escrows get to a high amount (6500.00) and they for no reason ended our account! Thieves thus far as you have zero possibility to get in touch with them except for a shady getahelpdesk system that gets looked at once every day or two. Filled with Scammers and very bad getahelpdesk.com I was scammed by one of those fraudsters, and getafreelancer.com will not do anything about it. Their getahelpdesk.com system is supposed to protect honest people and be an impartial arbitrator to an issue between the parties. However, its Staff often times leaves the dispute between fraudster and victim on their own to resolve the matter.

I have worked as a freelancer on many website and GAF are really good bunch of people when it comes to service; but when it comes to Money Withdrawal - They are a bunch of MORONS who will just apologize for delay and take forever to send you your money. I am gonna start looking into scriptlance or something - solely because GAF wont process my withdrawal request on time.

Stay away from GetAFreelancer.com! The bulk of the freelancers on the website are incompetent. They are unprofessional, do not stick to deadlines and do not take your project seriously. You are charged fees to post a job, charged fees to deposit money for the job and charged fees to get your money back when the person you selected goes MIA (missing in action). I tried this company based on the low bid amounts.

I got insulted badly by a freelancer on Getafreelancer.com but the management ignored my report and the abusive freelancer remains their member. Then my project time hads expired and I was unable to extend it since I was on vacation. I do not like GAF Getafreelancer.com at all and I will not use them. I'm surprised they are from Sweden.

it is me again who posted that GAF is the worst site on the inetrnet,to be fair, I am here again to appologize to GAF , as they returned back the money to my account , may be they did this to secure the rights of the provider and if it was so, that means they secure providors, again I do appologize to GAF as they prove that they really provide good service and being late returning the money back to my account shows how much they secure thier providers rights which is so fair and reasonable

I like the site, I like the fact that it is easy to use, simple and without hussle. GAF does not give much support to sellers, I don't think they does much either for buyers. I am seller, but I feel for people on either side of the people when they get scammed.

The most stupid thing about getafreelancer.com stance is that they claim not to mediate in disputes. But they do. They support the provider even when he is demonstrably 100% in the wrong. Just avoid GAF. They might take your money.

They are not so great when you have $100 in your account and then they remove it saying money was invalid. First time a freelance site rob me. I am going to sue this guys.

Very Very bad site. Pay 10% of the project price, even when 1 of the partys decide not to finish the project. All the webdesigners and programmers try to take as many jobs as possible, and when they have the job they decide they wont do it after all. Also u can only leave possitive feedback or your account will be suspended. Dont go there, u will regret if u do

Stay away of Indian programmers without best reviews. You can find there much better guys for example from eastern Europe.
