A lot of the people who are rating 5 are receiving preferential treatment by Elance and many of then work overseas.

Simply Hired is Simply a Waste of Time.

Simply Hired re-postes old and filled jobs, months old, as newly listed jobs.

They say the job was posted today. Go to the employers website to find the job was posted months ago (If at all) in many cased there is no evidence the job was ever open. (probably due to the position being filled months ago and the posting removed)

Huge waste of time.

I dealt with this site and all they did was sell my email address to marketers. I got tons of spam, but no job. When I looked them up, others had the same occurrance. I tried to get them to take me off the marketing list, but they didn't. It is a total SCAM! All the people giving them 5 stars are probably with the company. Just read what they wrote...not one of them stated they actually got a job or even a job interview. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

I got a job alert from Simply Hired and when I opened up the email, one job was posted and underneath the job the job board was "Jobnet.com". I clicked on this job so I could apply. As expected, I was taken to "Jobnet.com". I got a computer virus from this Jobnet.com and it wiped out all of my favorites, most of my MS Word docs (I'm an MBA student) and some functionality is gone. I will never use Simply Hired again

This is a bare bones site, though. It lacks most of the development tools that other sites have. It does have a nice free salary comparison tool, but even that is crude. Overall this site will help you with pure number of listings if you take a bit of time to weed out the garbage, and it's virtually hassle-free. I had listings within 30 seconds of going on the site. If you are looking for a lot of results fast, there is no better site. But if you are looking for help with your search beyond just listings, you'll need to add a more focused web-site to your stable. That is a solid recommendation for any job-search site, though. To get the best results, use several that give you the results you want.

SimplyHired is a useful site if youíre looking for a job, although the broken links were very annoying if you donít experience them then it could be a very useful site. By keeping all the jobs in one place you will find it much easier to search for and find an ideal job.

Simplyhired.com can really get your attention! I logged in to see what it's all about, and found myself searching for a new job. I didn't go there looking for a job, only information about the site! Before I knew it, I was imagining myself in some of the work environments that were being described.

SimplyHired is a simple search engine, searching for listings from other job boards, companies pages and online classifieds, searchable by type of job, type of company, keyword, location and the date the job was posted. You can use the site to search for job openings and subscribe to a search result delivery, or you can register for a free account and save annotated listings onsite as well. Among additional features to be mentioned are: interesting option for the user to "train" the job search engine on the preferred content delivery by rating jobs you are interested in; the ability to research salaries; the ability to add jobs to a job map and view detailed profiles of various companies.

SimplyHired, as the name suggests, aims to simplify the job search process by consolidating job listings from all the major and minor job sites such as Monster.com and HotJobs.com. SimplyHired is aimed toward the job seeker, with a search tool that refines your search by locality, salary, company size, education and even dog friendliness. The usual job seeker tools are here along with forums and blogs with a particularly amusing forum called "Simply Fired" where employees share their worst stories of being fired. The site brings some much needed good humor into the job search with a focus on functionality and simplicity. Definitely a site for job seekers to check out.
