This bank is a good and fair bank because it lets you do exactly what you wan to do. If you a high interest account and a low amount of usage then you can get a good account with realtively highinterest rates. Also they offer good accounts to people under the age of eighteen. So if you fall under that catyegory then try this bank out because they are a good way to go.

Pros: FANTASTIC REWARDS! Cons: Expensive, low acceptance. the high fees and low acceptance rate makes the Diners Club Card a poor choice for the average consumer. If you are looking for a "no fee" card to rack up a ton of points on, you should get a Visa or Master Card due to their higher acceptance rates. I'd recommend Citibank's Sony Card, or Novus's Discover Card as good starting points.

As far as I know Citibank charges the highest interest rates/late fee etc. "Citi never sleeps" as they keep on looking for an opportunity to make money out of ur pocket. No doubt with one login you can manage savings acc/loan/investment.credit card which is damn convenient. You can apply for a card online without much trouble and no documentation reqd. Getting all that in Citi is easiest across the banking segemnt, getting rid of it is the toughest.

Pros: Great service, great points program Cons: Not accepted in enough restaurants, stores. Overall, a great card, with great programs. The only hitch is the fact that it is not widely accepted at restaurants or stores, especially in the Western US. International acceptance and New York/Northeast is usually pretty good, however.

Pros: Take up to two billing cycles to pay your balance, great rewards program! Cons: Expensive, Less Widely Accepted. A great rewards program, great bonus miles your first year, awesome customer service. Diners Club is accepted at most major hotel chains, rental car agencies, airlines, and many great restaurants.

Citibank offers a checking account to address everyones banking needs. They also have an excellent customer service center. Their online banking is also an added plus you can open an account and apply for a loan from the comfort of home.

Pros: Excellent customer service, great rewards programme Cons: Not very widely accepted in retail outlets in USA. One drawback: although all major hotels and many restaurants accept Diners Club here in the USA, I really would like more retail stores to welcome my card. But for international travellers will be pleasantly surprised. Especially in Europe, the Diners Club card is accepted in many stores as well.

Since I opened my Citibank account three years ago, I have not looked back. The service has proved to be extremely reliable and error free, unlike my experience with other banks. It is only when you hear of the experience of others that you realise how lucky you are. Overall the service offered by Citibank is excellent. You just have to be prepared to seek out the possibilites that are available to you.

This is the bank I always trusted and like. It services are beyond any doubt. People are friendly and it has a wide range of services that can eliminate the hassle of banking. First of all, it is a prestigious bank and well known all over the world. If you are in other country, you will still being serve as a citibank priority customer in any country. Imagine yourself carrying a Citibank cash card or credit card, you will immediately be rcognised by the merchants. I experienced this before.

Pros: Amazing customer service. Cons: Low acceptance. You shouldn't throw out your other credit cards because Diner's Club cards are not accepted widely in the United States. I recently accepted the $300 per year Diners Club/Carte Blanche card and it is the best $300 per year I've ever spent. The "concierge" service is wonderful and has helped me with a few travel problems. This and amazing customer service are the reason I use my card every chance I get. All the airlines accept the card (US carriers). You can't go wrong with this one.

Pros: Flexible Rewards, great service, 60 days to pay, auto insurance coverage Cons: Limited acceptance. One of the most unique features of the card is the lack of phone menus on calls to support. This is truly refreshing. One call and I am speaking to a real person who, for the most part, seems to be well trained. I have had one problem with the card. Their support team went way above and beyond. They deal with my unique situation with extraordinary flexibility and customer care.

Pros: Impeccable customer service combined with an excellent rewards program. Cons: Somewhat limited acceptance. With Diners Club you have top notch customer service. You even have your own personal concierge service that you can access via phone or online, 24/7 and they can pretty much do anything you ask, provided it is allowed by law, whether it is making dinner reservations at a fancy restaurant, or obtaining hard to get concert tickets. They can even fax you dinner recipes or refer a top rated restaurant, and recommend services you can use for your home or business.

I signed up for the Citibank Everything Counts account while I was student. It was a great plan! Gave me free checks at no cost to me and I can still order free checks, even post-graduation. ATMs are worldwide; I was able to access my account in China. Money transfers are easy, online and at the ATM. Highly recommended service.

The internet service is excellent. You get free telephone banking (with a freefone number). You can use nearly every cash machine available (including abroad) free of charge. I have yet to find a cash machine that I have not been able to use. You get a free US dollar saving account, should you need one. Fairly good interest rate on credit balances.

Citibank took two weeks to issue my ATM card - and then had to issue three PIN numbers - none of which worked. A new card was issued which, having been told would be delivered the next day,(Saturday) did not turn up until the Monday or Tuesday and even then the PIN number didn't work until we had called in two or three times. We needed a signature notarised on a form - a service that a US bank provides without charge to clients. Having been told that Citibank would do this, when we called to make an appointment we were told that they only notarised affidavits - and even that information turned out to be incorrect!!

Why is their website so slow, its taking five minutes to load each page when trying to make a payment online. This is ridiculous.

Citibank account is a very user friendly bank till the time you manage it online personally and you know the rules and ways in which bank can charge you interest/fee/charges. As far as I know Citibank charges the highest interest rates/late fee etc. "Citi never sleeps" as they keep on looking for an opportunity to make money out of ur pocket.

I will never suggest any customer to have your saving account with bank like CITIBANK/HSBC. They are the fraud people and biggest think they dont even except this fault in the sytem.

Name: "expert"
Pros: Excellent Customer Service and Payment Flexibility Cons: Limited Acceptance. I can safely say that Diners Club wins the corporate contest hands-down. Diners Club's statements are thorough and easy to understand. Diners Club does not bombard the corporate account holder with unsolicited (and usually unwanted) mailings of offers for everything from insurance to merchandise.

I have been a Citicard.com user for several years now and historically the site has been great (fast, easy, feature rich). However within the past month their website has become incredible slow from all of the locations I try it from. On average it used to only take 30 seconds to login, look at my activity and pay my statement. Now the it takes the first page 2 minutes after logging in, and another 2 minutes to load the payment page.

Earlier this year my bank was bought by citibank. I was annoyed and ready to change until I used their website. There is nothing citbank doesn't let you do online. It really is great.

Oh yes. I am one of the suckers whospends a lot of time in both UK and Europe and therefore needs to have easy access to money in different currencies. Citibank does offer some savings on inetrantional transactions, but their costomer service is appalling.

Pros: primary auto collision & damage insurance for rental car. Cons: not widely accepted. I have to say that things got improved recently, some retail stores start accepting it, such as B&N, some online store begin to accept it,such as Amazon.com, and I can use this card at some gas stations. but this is far below enough. When the annual fee will soon increase another 20% to $95, I expect Diners Club spend MORE effort to increase its acceptance.

They don't really offer great rates. I don't even keep much money in this account anymore.

This site loads so dang slow that even I can't stand it anymore...and I am really VERY patient! I'm even going to quit using the card since I ALWAYS pay may credit cards online...Each month it takes WAY too long to make a payment or check statements etc. Navigating through all their other stuff is a pain on top of everything else.

Pros: Plenty of upscale service. Not drooling idiots at the 1 800 2 DINERS number. Cons: There is a hefty fee for the card. And hard at times to find acceptance. At the end of the year, Diner's Club sends you a statement, broken down by category, by month, and by year ALL of your charges. This is VERY handy when it comes time to see the accountant.

Online banking with Citibank is always a pleasure. It is one of the most secured site. However the website looks to be very crowded as they have tried to get most of the things on the top portion of the web page so as to get user's attention to it. Instead of getting attention, it seems to be disturbing and non pleasing. It has provided different options such Online Banking with Bill Pay, Checking, Ultimate Money account and so on.

Pros: Cheery, Humane Service; Superior Benefits; Good Signup Bonus Cons: Limited Acceptance. Stack Diners Club up against American Express and Diners wins every round but one. Diners is THE BEST CHARGE CARD -- as distinct from credit cards -- that you can get. I jumped ship from Amex to DC last year... and I can recommend the move.

The website doesn't make it clear waht interest rate you get with each of these accounts, which is a bad sign. I would always recommend that you look for a checking account that offers a decent interest rate and low monthly fees. Given that I don't have rates information to go by, then the Citibank Access Account looks best to me. I would be wary of accounts that are promoted as 'Premium' or 'Gold' accounts - they tend to be expensive and I also don't like the way the bank imposes minimum balance restrictions.

I dont know who set up their website but with their money I am sure they can do a lot better. I filled a application several days ago and it was approved, now I cant acess my account, and [I printed my ID and password] now the software say it dosen't regonize my password and you cant get any help.

Pros: Amazing customer service Cons: I wish it was accepted at more places. The Diners Club card is a great credit card. You don't have to pay anything for 60 days and that really helps if you work for a company where you're reimbursed slowly for your expenses. It can be used at all airport parking facilities that I've ever been to (That's Nashville, Detroit, Kansas City, BWI, Reagan National, Dulles, Newark, JFK, La Guardia, and St. Louis). It's available at most (But not all restaurants). It works at all major car rental and hotel chains. It's even starting to pop up all over the place: Ticketmaster, 1-800-Mattress, and gas stations.

Totally unlike the Citibank service in the US, this is a really special banking service. - Advantages: international, branches everywhere, reliable, make you feel special - Disadvantages: wait to get through to call centre

Pros: Taken everywhere MasterCard is, GREAT rewards program. Cons: NONE.. Diners Club had good customer service. They are prompt & always helpful. Also, keep in mind, this card is a "CHARGE CARD" & has to be paid in full each month. They do have a program called "Club Plus" where you can carry a BAL each month & pay interest if you need to.

Pros: Service, 60-Day Billing Cycle, ClubRewards Cons: Limited US Accpetance. There is one serious drawback to Diners Club, and that is its limited acceptance in much of the United States, outside the travel and entertainment area.

I've had excellent service from Citibank. Lots of little plusses add up to a big advantage. Decent interest rate on current account, availability of dollar or euro account, nice real leather cheque book cover, credit card includes photo as security feature. Particularly suitable if you do a lot of international travel as they do have branches in major cities, which can be very convenient.

Dear All, everyone has an experience. even my husband worked in an organisation and applied for personal loan but he did not face any problem with citibank even after he resigned and joined a new job. Citibank is quick in processing loans and it had sent back the cheques of my carloan and the balance amount by cheque immediately after the closure.
