Pros: Easy online banking and online bill pay. Cons: The negative effects of the "big banks". Citizens Bank has provided a rather simple ease of doing personal banking and for that I at least will recommend them. however, there are certainly added benefits that Citizens Bank offers to me in terms of accessibility that the little guy might not be able to.

My daughter decided to open a checking account with Citizens bank. Days even weeks later her account would not show her deposits. She ended up bouncing a bunch of checks thinking her money was in there. The bank would charge a fee of $75.00 for each one. This really had her finances in a mess. his bank is quick to charge fees but slow to update accounts.There fees are really high.

Pros: Good CD rates, most of the time. Convenient locations. Cons: Unimpressive service in all areas: Online, phone and in person.Far from being the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with, Citizens offers pretty good CD rates but little else that I would recommend. I can’t imagine doing regular banking business with them. They definitely are not typical, just lackluster.

Pros: Good hours, many locations, online accounts Cons: Tellers, fees, lack of communication. Despite the flaws, I find Citizens Bank to be more personable and convenient than the big chains.
