)Creepy customer service. their customer service people tend to add insult to injury by taking the opportunity to try and sell you new services.
↑ Back to topTerrible customer service, asinine bank policies, general confusion among different employees/branches/etc. Stay away from this bank. I have had all manner of problems consistently during my 6 years as a customer.

When it comes to JP Morgan Chase Bank, you just don't know if your money is going to be in your account when you need it. It's scary, really. JP Morgan Chase Bank is completely unreliable, undependable and inconvenient.

Pros: Plenty of ATMs; On-Line Banking & Bill Pay; free checking (for now) Cons: Rates are not all that competitive. They seem to be playing fair so for now Chase will remain my bank.

Pros: Great Web Site, reliable service Cons: Tellers are useless. I got their basic, no-frills account. It's a checking/savings combo that costs about $15/mo. unless you keep two grand in there all the time. The only problem I've had is that the local Jack-in-the-Box delays posting transactions - how, I don't know. But when I make a purchase there, and then go get gas, I've accidentally gone overdraft.

Pros: Lots of services Cons: Customer service needs to improve; Higher fees than most financial services. JP Morgan Chase isn't without its flaws, just like every major- league bank seems to be these days. But I feel this bank has handled my investment account pretty well, with detailed statements with a good deal of accuracy.

Not so friendly tellers, marginal overall service, and fees...fees...and more fees. I would pretty much avoid this bank if at all possible. While I know all banks charge fees now, I really believe this one takes that policy to the extreme and I suspect that's how they get all their cash to go shopping for weaker companies.

Chase Bank does not reward longevity customers or their granddaughters' small savings accounts. The banker made me feel that their little amount of savings was unimportant. At one time I would have really recommended this bank. Now that is is JPMorgan/Chase, they do not care about the little people.
