I am leaving M&T immediately. They are thieves - every semester I deposit a check from the same bank and it takes less than a week to clear. They have arbitrarily decided to hold this semester's deposit over 11 days. Criminals. And, they have condescending asses for customer reps.

The bank from hell. They are thieves. They charge big fees, have the worst service open week day hours only, have horrible bitches working for them, and hold your money like it is theirs.

You leave money with a bank so that you don't have to worry about it. Find a different bank.

If you enjoy being charged fees for everything (maybe even breathing)- then being fingerprinted like a felon on a regular basis, this bank is for you!

I wouldn't recommend M&T Bank because it doesn't have user-friendly policies which would appeal to most people.

Avoid this bank like the plague. Their customer service is horrible and their negligence could cost you.

Hidden fees, innacurate balances, check card issues

M&T is the worst bank ever. Their employees are arrogant and rude, the fees outrageous, and their check-clearing and other policies are ridiculous.
