I used to work for MI bank in the plymouth Office in MN, they had bad managers and like what Killerwhale said " only care about you if you have thousands of dollars with them" and yes, they do look down on you if you are in chexsystems.. come on.. even workers there who are on chexsystems can not get an account.. I would stay away from MI bank. since they are not nationwide. Try going to states that do not have MIBANKS. it's a pain in the butt to do anything! with all the fees and troubles.. I rather bank with Wells fargo or USbank. at least I can go to a branch in any town.

tried to open a joint acc. w/ fiance and felt unwelcome due to rude attitude and cold shoulders. location 10th st. by highway 465

The branch I go to is friendly and do not care if you have a few hundred dollars or thousands. The branch I am talking about is in Prescott, AZ. Maybe it is different in different parts of the country.

I use to work for M&I Bank but resigned after realizing that their management doesn't care about the employees or customers but just themselves. They look down upon a customer that does not pass chexsystem or have bad credits. M&I Bank only cares about you as a customer if you have thousands or millions with them.
