Pros: Friendly tellers,free checking Cons: Watch where your money goes. Don't go there unless you know all about banking before you get there. You'll be paying them the rest of your life like I will.

Customer service is great. It happened to me by mistake that I was few dollars in negative and US bank charged me for that, of course. It was my mistake,but I was surprised when my branch called me and offered me help explaining that system might be just machine, but they are humans and they are willing to help. They cleared my negative after I've explained how it happen and they assured to me that I can always come and talk to them if something like that might happen again.

Pros: Good service, error-free banking Cons: I have no real complaints. The bank is mostly a full-service bank. They even offer on-line banking. For instance, when I bank in the Denver area, the tellers are friendly and happy to see me. They always greet me and offer to help. When I go up to the mountains where my parents live, there is a US Bank branch. This is a town where money talks and (insert expletive) walks. I find the tellers to be far less friendly, far less helpful, and can’t seem to shove me out of their bank fast enough.

Pros: Cash back debit card, negative balance repayment program and checking account advance Cons: No stand alone branches, they use available balance when clearing items. U.S. Bank offers a cash back debit card that pays you cash for using your debit card (as a credit card, not with PIN) that you can redeem anytime online when your reward reaches at least $5, it’s an instant deposit into your account. They are located everywhere, open 7 days a week, and have by far the best loan rates I have seen. Yes, U.S. Bank charges large overdraft fees, but I have overdraft protection, which did not cost me anything. The employees at the branches are always friendly, and after shopping a number of banks for my home equity line, u.s. Bank was the best. Other banks charged origination fees, or closing costs, or an annual fee. U.S. Bank had the lowest rate and no costs.

Pros: None, unless...nope, still none. Cons: Actually I'd trust a "con" more than U.S. Bank. Poor customer service, inexcusable errors and countless rounds of phone tag make U.S. Bank a hazard to your wallet.

They will take your change for cash for free if you have an account on slow days of the week. Their staff is sometimes polite and helpful. They have been accurate with my account balances for 14 years. Their guards insult customers treat them like sheep. Judging by their actions; the U.S. Bank acts like an agency of the Government collecting taxes. They don't have accounts in Euro. Also, U.S. Bank was good for international money transfers.
