Zions Bank remembers who keeps them in business because if you have one mistake then they will hit you with huge fees!!!!! BEWARE OF ZIONS BANK!!!

I've been with Zions Bank for about 20 years. In that time Zions Bank has kept every promise it made to me. In addition to that; when I've overdrafted my account I've found the customer support to be very helpful and willing to listen - usually refunding me the charge.

I transferred the bulk of my money to zions a couple years ago after noticing that citibank had drastically lowered the interest rate. I went to bankrate.com and saw that zionsbank had gotten good rating and that their interest rate was much more competitive but still allowed easy access to my money. One negative aspect is that I have had trouble confirming using microdeposits from other financ…ial institutions, but that may not be zion's fault.

Zions bank offered competitive interest rates and was easy to apply for. I was able to pay my car off early without a penalty.

You get a variable rate which is compounded daily and paid quarterly. Like any IRA, there is a substantial penalty for withdrawing money from the account early. When you reach 59 and a half, you can begin receiving the money on your terms. You can make deposits whenever you want to build up your savings.
